Auto Repair in Madison Lake, MN

Madison Lake, MN

The small city of Madison Lake, MN, covers just over one square mile of land in Blue Earth County, about 12 miles northeast of Mankato on the upper west side of the lake after which the town was named. As part of the Mankato–North Mankato metropolitan area, Madison Lake is home to a current population of close to 1,200 people under the motto, “Hooked on Madison Lake!”

A post office called Madison Lake has operated since 1885. The Madison Lake town site was incorporated in 1892 and became known as the Village of Madison Lake. It remained a village until the 1980s when the state classified it as a city. Today, State Highway 60 is the main route through the community, with lakes Ballantyne and Duck on the north end of town. The Madison Lake Watershed and Lake Association (MLWLA) is a non-profit organization serving to protect the natural resource of Madison Lake for future generations.
