The city of North Mankato, MN, covers 6.2 square miles of land mostly in Nicollet County, while extending a small way into adjacent Blue Earth County. The old North Mankato Public School building is now Belltower Apartments, a structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Several parks fill the city, including Bluff, Caswell, Spring Lake and Benson, among others. North Mankato has been designated a “Bicycle Friendly Community” along with Mankato.
